Vision Statement:
To strengthen our Ummah through building a strong Sisterhood in the Triad through learning communicating and supporting one another, as we are servants of Allah(Subhanahu wa ta'ala) first and connected by our faith.
"O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted." (Surah Al Hujurat (49:13)
About/Purpose:
The initial idea for forming the Muslimah Committee of the Triad (North Carolina) is for the sake of Allah only. It came to mind when witnessing the beautiful diversity from a wide range of ethnic backgrounds of this Ummah. Noticing the disconnection of the new Muslimahs, the multi diversity cultural grouping and segregated sects we realize that we was missing a united sisterhood. With the permission of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) we was able to identify the problem. It was apparent that we needed to find a way to unite our Ummah with in this society of dunya. With this being said, understanding we are truly united by our belief of Tawheed (the Oness of God), with our firm belief in our last Prophet “Muhammad” (Peace be upon Him) revealing the Qur'an the last revelation from Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) in to mankind along with his Sunnah (Hadiths) of practical examples of the Qur'an in action by our Prophet, and the rightly guided Predecessors (the Companions of the Prophet (Peace be Upon Them), We are committed to the responsibility of our Shahadah (the testimony of a Muslim) and all that it testifies to, all that it denies and the conditions that are included within it. Our goals is to grow, learn and untie with one another for the sake of Allah’s mercy. The Muslimah Committee has no political ideology or support any sects that strays from the Quran, Sunnah or Righteous Guided Predecessors of the Prophet in belief or practice.
We ask Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala ) to accept our efforts which we do only in seeking His absolute mercy, grace and seek His forgiveness for any mistakes we have made, due to our lack of knowledge or ignorance.
Ameen
